4 cups of Oluolu split beans
Half a tablespoon of the following: salt, black or red ground pepper
One large Onion finely chopped
Quarter of saucepan of Vegetable or Red palm oil (Red palm oil is best)
Optional - Two large diced tomatoes
Process split beans in blender. Add water to give thick constituent (one half of a cup of water should do). Blend till silky smooth. Pour into large bowl. Add chopped onions, tomatoes and ground pepper. Stir in one half tablespoon of salt. Pour palm oil into frying pan. When hot (not smoking!) drop mixture in with large tablespoon. Fry till golden brown on both sides.
Can be taken as a snack or with Oluolu Ogi Baba (millet porridge)
