Cassava Fufu Flour

Our cassava fufu flour is produced from an organic root tuber called cassava, which is grown across West Africa. The cassavas are peeled, washed, cut into pieces, and then left to soak in spring water for a day before sun drying. This results in sun-ripened, nutrient rich cassava that is milled into this fine flour.

Cassava fufu is a staple fermented dough used widely in West African cuisine, known for its smooth, stretchy texture and mildly tangy flavor. It’s traditionally served as an accompaniment to soups and stews like egusi, ogbono, or vegetable soups.
To prepare, boil or steam the fufu until it reaches a soft, elastic consistency. Use about ½ to 1 cup per serving as a side dish. For best results, handle gently to maintain its texture and serve warm.
