Cassava Lafun Flour

This is Pure cassava flour, not Fermented Fufu flour. Produced from the root tuber called cassava, which is grown across West Africa. The cassavas are peeled, washed, cut into pieces, and washed in spring water before sun drying. This results in sun-ripened, nutrient rich cassava that is milled into this fine flour.

To create a delicious and highly nutritious meal. Boil 3/4 cup of water or fresh milk in a saucepan. Add 1 tsp of Coconut Oil, 1 tsp of Honey and with a wooden spatula, stir in 1 cup of Fufu flour; stir well till a lump free dough is formed. Add another 1/2 cup of water to the dough, reduce the heat and cover. Leave to cook for a further 3-5 minutes. Knead the dough again until smooth and velvety. Serve hot with a stew or accompaniment of your choice. (You can always add more Flour or Water, depending on your desired texture and consistency).
