Did you know

Ehuru, also known as African nutmeg or calabash nutmeg, has a warm, smoky aroma and a mildly spicy, nutty flavor. It’s traditionally roasted and ground before use, adding depth to dishes like pepper soup, ofe nsala, and sauces.
Roast lightly until fragrant, then grind to a fine powder. Use about ¼ to ½ teaspoon per pot — a little goes a long way. Best added early during cooking to allow the flavor to infuse slowly into the dish.
